NMD 22 Rev 22 Water of life
In the previous study, NMD 21 Rev 21 New Jerusalem, we have studied the new heaven and earth. In the last part of this study, NMD 22 Rev 22 Water of life, we see a river of the water of life and we hear a warning to those who know the Lord and those who do not know Him. We will see that John was very impressed by all that he had seen and also made a mistake.
This part is the last part of the study No More Delay and will end to give Him all the honour as He is the creator of Heaven and Earth.
Jesus spoke on the last day of the festival of Tabernacles in Jerusalem about rivers of living water. I will read John 7:37-38. On that day one always carries two golden jars of water from the pool of Siloam in procession to the temple. But here there are no jars but rivers of living water which come directly from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In that water one can be completely baptised like Christians can be baptised in the Holy Spirit.
In verse 2 there is, in the middle of a great street of the city, a river. On each side of the river stood the tree of life. In paradise there was only one tree of life but here we see on both sides of the street the trees of life. In the new Jerusalem there is an abundance of life which is what you can expect when death is no longer present. Which means that death can no longer affect life any more?
The abundance is also shown by the fact, that the trees of life carry an unimaginable abundance of fruit. In our time the fruit trees only produce one crop a year, but in the new Jerusalem these fruit trees produce a crop every month, as can be read in verse 2. The question might arise “Who is going to eat all this fruit?” The next line in verse 2 might give more light on this question where it is written: “the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations”. Here the nations are mentioned which means NOT the Saints as they are living in the new Jerusalem, nor the Israelites as they are living on the earth. But those who have entrusted God with spirit, soul and body during the 1000 year period and have not followed satan in his attempt for a rebellion against God while temporarily released. These people may eat these fruits in any case.

This was the last part of the study No More Delay called after the book “No More Delay” of the writer Wim Embregts and published by Het Zoeklicht. The NMD team hopes and prays, that you too, maybe as a result of this study, bow your knees for Him who went on the cross on Golgotha for your sins too, acknowledge to Him that you are also a sinner and accept Him as your saviour. It is so simple and yet so difficult but the result of this step will give you an everlasting life with Him. What function will the servants of God have in Rev 22:5 and for how long?
The study, No More Delay, is nearly finished. What is the main purpose of this study (Rev 1:3)?
John has seen and heard many things and would like to thank his guide. What does his guide say and why (Rev 22:8-9)?
In the book of Daniel a large number of things which Daniel had seen, was sealed (Da 12:4). How is that in the book of Revelation (Rev 22:10) and what is the reason?

What is written in Rev 22:14-16 and what does that mean?
The entire Team of “No More Delay” invites you to consider these issues and to take a decision to accept the Lord as your only Saviour. Is this terrifying?
