NMD 21 Rev 21 New Jerusalem
In the previous study, NMD 20b Rev 20:7-15 Mean Time 4d, we have seen that satan, the dead and the underworld are thrown into the lake of fire. In this study, NMD 21 Rev 21 New Jerusalem, we will see a new heaven and a new earth coming up and a location is found for the new Jerusalem.
Peter expected in 2 Peter 3:13: “ … we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.” But this promise could only become a reality if the unrighteousness of the world is taken away. As long as there is only a trace of unrighteousness, sin, related to illnesses and the dead, it is impossible for God to dwell with the people. That might be the reason why during the millennium the new Jerusalem will be visible but not descending to earth.
What John sees unfolding in front of him is all new “for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away”. The past is now completely the past, it is no longer there. In Isaiah 65:17 is written: “See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind”. Now it is important to move forward, rejoice in a totally changed situation.
Now let us study NMD 21 Rev 21 New Jerusalem Mean Time 4d, where we will see a new heaven and a new earth coming up and a location is found for the new Jerusalem.
